Why won't my MOV file play on Windows/Android?
MOV is Apple's QuickTime container. Some Windows apps and most Android/web platforms expect MP4 (H.264/AAC), which this tool produces.
Does this also reduce file size?
It re-encodes at a good default quality, which often shrinks the file too. For maximum compression, use the Video Compressor instead.
